If you are looking for a challenging, stimulating, and supportive environment to work in and feel that you have the interest, ability, and commitment to establish an independent research program of the highest quality, we would like to hear from you. We are currently looking for candidates with proven experience in the following fields.
Computational Biology
Biology of Infectious Diseases
Plant Biology
Ecology and Evolution
Structural Biology with a focus on Cryogenic Electron Microscopy
Our faculty search is not limited to only these areas. Candidates who would have the all-around ability to establish and sustain a strong and high-quality scientific program in other areas and who would also contribute to the scientific and intellectual environment at the institution in various ways are also encouraged to contact us.
Please send your application to the Faculty Search Committee, CCMB (fsc@ccmb.res.in). Your application should contain your CV with date of birth (with names of 6-8 referees), a brief (1-2 page) account of your research and its significance, and a statement of your future plans bringing out the issues that your research would aim to address (2-4 pages).
