This facility maintains updated databases on nucleic acids and protein sequences and is equipped with sequence, analytical and modeling & facilities-customised software with high-speed Internet, intranet, LAN, Value Added Patent Information System (VAPIS-http://www.vapis.res.in). An interactive molecular modelling system and a high throughput Linux cluster with four nodes for studies involving long string searches are available.
